League Details

  • The Pre-Kindergarten Coed T-Ball League has been established for the purpose of introducing both boys and girls to organized t-ball. Players are taught the rules of the game, basic stills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship with a focus on having fun. Participants registering for this program must be 5 years old on or by September 1, 2025, or entering Kindergarten in Fall 2025. A total of 8 games will be played.

League Details

  • The intent is to teach the basic rules of baseball without pitching and with emphasis on fun, teamwork, and sportsmanship. A lightweight Little League ball is used. Games and/or practices are held two or three days a week. Player must have been in Kindergarten during the 2024/25 school year.

League Details

  • The tee is removed, and the focus is on teaching the basic rules of baseball through a combination of kid and coach pitch. A team player catches behind the plate. This provides a better transition into the Rookie League, where players hit pitches thrown by same-age players for the entire season. Players must have been in first grade during the 2024/25 school year.

League Details:

  • Players hit pitches from players and coaches. Emphasis on batting (no walks allowed), fun, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Players must have been in second grade during the 2024/25 school year.

  • Players learn the rules of the game, develop skills, provide an opportunity for fun, and teach teamwork and sportsmanship. Emphasis is on developing skills of the game at the A level. Games are six innings. League includes teams from neighboring communities.

  • The AAA level is a competitive league. It is recommended that players should have been involved in organized baseball prior to entering this league. High School students must register for the High School JV League. League includes teams from neighboring communities.

  • Open to current high school Freshmen and Sophomores (cannot have turned 17 before May 1, 2025). JV teams are members of the North Suburban Youth Baseball Association and travel to different communities for away games. Players who expect to play on their High School’s summer baseball team are welcome to join. It is anticipated that most games are played on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays so as not to conflict with High School summer league play. This program is not included in the family maximum fee.

League Details

  • The Instructional League is a “Modified T-Ball” league and has been established as a transitional step between the “Pre-K Coed T-Ball” and “A” Leagues. The objective is to prepare players for the transition from hitting the ball off the tee to hitting a “Coach” pitched ball. If the player is unable to hit the pitched 11” Softie ball, the tee is used. The league is limited to those players in kindergarten and first grade during the 2024/25 school year. This league, like pre-kindergarten Coed T-Ball, is considered to be an introduction to the fundamentals of organized softball.

  • The “A” League has been established as a transitional step from “coach” pitch to “player” pitch. The objective is to continue skill development of all players in all positions with additional focus on the fundamentals of “pitching” and “catching”. During the first half of the season, coaches will pitch all innings of the game. During the second half of the season, a player will pitch (with partial coach pitch during games as needed). The 11” Softie Ball will be used. League is limited to players in second grade during the 2024/2025 school year.

  • This exciting 11” fast-pitch league has been established to introduce players to pitching the entire game. Emphasis will be on teaching how to play, appreciate, and respect the game of organized softball in an enjoyable environment of teamwork, healthy competition, and good sportsmanship. Key focus is continued skill development of all players in all positions and the introduction to strategies of bunting and stealing bases. The league is limited to players in the third and fourth grade during the 2024/25 school year. League includes teams from neighboring communities. Players have the option of trying out for the 10U Wheaton Bobcats (postseason tournament team) and the 10U Wheaton Wildcats (full-time travel team).
