League Details

Wheaton Bobcats is an all-star tournament team that allows girls who are participating in the regular in-house league softball program to compete in tournaments at the conclusion of their regular season. Players must tryout and the team is limited to 12 players. Players can expect to participate in 2-4 tournaments after the in-house season, concluding by the end of July.

Volunteers must complete the following:

Visit the CDC website for the free online course: HEADS UP Online Training Upon completion of the course and quiz, a certificate will be issued. Certificates should be printed and emailed to dmitchell@wheatonparks.org.

Volunteer Application & Background Check Waiver (PDF)

In accordance with the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act [325 ILCS 5/4], volunteers are required to report or cause a report to be made to the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline at 1-800-25-ABUSE (1-800-252-2873) whenever there is reasonable cause to believe that a child known to that volunteer in their professional or official capacity may be abused or neglected.
