Tryout Dates and Details

WHAT TO BRING

Your own basketball (please initial or write your child’s name on their basketball)
3rd – 5th Boys – 28.5 Size
6th-8th Boys – 29.5 Size
4th – 5th Girls – 27.5
6th – 8th Girls – 28.5

TRYOUT DETAILS

CLOSED DOOR TRYOUTS

  • All spectators will not be able to attend tryouts. Feel free to drop them off and return when tryouts are over.
  • We understand there are conflicts so while not mandatory, attending both days of tryouts is strongly encouraged to allow instructors to properly evaluate each player over the course of both days and help place them on the correct team.
  • Depending on how many participants are registered, we will have up to three teams at every grade.
  • Teams will be split into A, B, and C teams
  • Three teams can be created as long as we feel they can compete in the DuPage Youth Travel Basketball League (DYTBL)
  • Three Level Basketball staff will evaluate participants based on their dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, rebounding, and basketball knowledge
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your tryout times to allow check in and warmups.
  • Participants will wear number bids at each tryouts
  • Cuts will be made at every level to form teams
  • There will be between 8-10 players per team
