About Wheaton Wolverines Lacrosse

Our recent partnership with Team Illinois Lacrosse will help the Wheaton Lacrosse program grow by leaps and bounds! More games, more tournaments, and professional coaches assisting with the teams. Get ready for a great Spring experience in Wheaton!

Season Details

Minis Lacrosse
Grades: Kdg – 2nd
Dates: 4/6 – 6/5
Practices: Thursdays from 5pm-6pm
Games: Saturdays (possible makeup games on Sundays). All games within 20-mile radius
Cost: $90/Resident
Location: Graf Park

Travel Team Season
Grades: 3rd-8th
Dates: 4/6 – 6/5
Practices: Tuesdays 6pm-7:30pm; Thursdays 6pm-7:30pm
Games: Saturdays (possible makeup games on Sundays). All games within 20-mile radius
Cost: $270/Resident
Location: Graf Park

Philosophy

Provide opportunities for Wheaton area youth lacrosse players to excel in individual team lacrosse skills in a challenging and competitive environment. This program has a place for every player – from New players looking to learn the game to experienced players looking to compete at a high level.

Become a Volunteer

Volunteers must complete the following:

Visit the CDC website for the free online course: HEADS UP Online Training Upon completion of the course and quiz, a certificate will be issued. Certificates should be printed and emailed to dmitchell@wheatonparks.org.

Volunteer Application & Background Check Waiver (PDF)
In accordance with the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act [325 ILCS 5/4], volunteers are required to report or cause a report to be made to the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline at 1-800-25-ABUSE (1-800-252-2873) whenever there is reasonable cause to believe that a child known to that volunteer in their professional or official capacity may be abused or neglected.
