In-House Fall Soccer 2026

August 10 – October 3 | Games on Saturdays | Time & Location: Varies

Grades PreK-8 | R/NR Fee:* $90(R)/$113(NR)

Our soccer program is a recreational/instructional league that provides each player, regardless of ability, with a positive sports experience. We stress safety, fun, sportsmanship and skill development. Due to the varying degree of skill level posing a safety and competitive imbalance concern, currently rostered travel soccer players may not register for the in-house soccer program.

Register Now * Fees increase by $15 on July 10, 2026.

Additional Information for In-House Fall Soccer

The first two weeks are for practice. Teams meet no more than twice a week – a practice and a game. Players are contacted by coaches after they have been assigned to a team.

There are no practices for winter soccer only games after players are contacted by coaches after they have been assigned to a team.

Wheaton Park District athletic department personnel will use the system below to equitably form In-House athletic league teams. Please note that requests are not guaranteed.

In-House Athletics (Non-Board) League Team Formation Guidelines

  1. Volunteer coaches’ children will be placed first. Each team will be limited to 1 designated head coach and 2 designated assistant coaches for team formation.
  2. When registering, participants can select their top friend or coach request.
    • While forming teams if after going through top requests for all participants and it leads to a grouping of participants greater than double the number of participants that can play on the court/field at once, and the coach doesn’t approve expanding the roster size, that team roster will be formed by enrollment date into the program.
  3. When registering, participants can select a 2nd priority friend or coach request.
  4. Participants will then be placed on teams by the school they attend.
  5. Finally, participants will be placed by geographic location. For example, schools near one another; northeast, northwest, southeast, or southwest quadrants of Wheaton or surrounding communities closest to these quadrants.

When forming teams, the Athletic Department will make every attempt not to exceed double the number of participants that can play on the court/field at one time unless approved by the coach. For example, five players play at one time on the basketball court, so the team roster will not exceed 10 players without coach approval.

Become a volunteer for the soccer program! All teams need coaches and we’ll provide you with the training. If you are interested in coaching or getting involved as an assistant, please mark that on your registration form.

All participants must pre-register including those whose parents will volunteer coach.

Practices will begin the week of 8/10.

Games will run on Saturdays from 8/22 to 10/3.
