Parent Assistant Coach
The parent assistant coach assists the professional trainer at training sessions and games. He or she is required to have a minimum of a Grassroots coaching license from the United States Soccer Federation. This license is required by the leagues in order to get a coaches pass and to coach on the sideline.
The role of the Parent Manager (PM) is to support the team in all areas not related to coaching. Vital qualifications for a PM are good communication and organizational skills. The parent manager is required to communicate with the Wheaton Park District, the Professional Trainer, Parent Assistant Coach, the opponents within the leagues and tournament directors.
